We report the results of a Rosat archival study of long term variability in Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN). Since its launch in 1990, Rosat has made repeated observations of many AGN, which, due to pointing constraints, are separated by ~ 6 month intervals. We have extracted count rates from >50 observations of 15 targets using an automated IDL analysis, and computed the variability amplitude for each source. In this poster, we discuss the relation between variability amplitude and luminosity for different types of AGN.
