I argue that pre-shock zone is optically thin for continuum radiation
longward Lyman limit in the case of magnetically controlled disk
accretion onto low-mass young stars. The origin of the observed veiling
continuum and emission lines of classical T Tauri stars (CTTS) is
discussed.
