An exact solution for the electromagnetic field produced by a uniformly magnetized oblique rotator is derived under the strict vacuum condition. The 'vacuum solution' is obtained by successive operations of the rigid-rotation, retardation and radiation operators on the 'rest solution' (the vector potential in the absence of rotation). The explicit forms of these operators are given for the case of a spherical rotator with radius a. The potentials and the fields are all expressed in the real forms, and the fields reduce to the Endean-Allen solution (1970) in the limit of an orthogonal point dipole (i.e., a approaches 0 and the dipole moment is orthogonal to the angular velocity). It is also shown by the aid of a description in a rotating frame that the rotation of magnetized matter induces the polarization current in the rest frame, which can be regarded as an effective change in the magnetization.
