Results are given of spectral observations of 72 objects in list XII of galaxies with ultraviolet continua. Emission lines were found in the red and in some cases green parts of the spectrum. The redshifts and luminosities of the galaxies were determined. Seyfert features were found in 11 of the galaxies. Seven of these, nos. 1098, 1126, 1146, 1152, 1157, 1179, and 1187, are definitely of the Seyfert type; the types of the remaining four, nos. 1127, 1133, 1149, and 1158, must be verified.
