Pulsars: General, Radiation Mechanisms: Non-Thermal
Scientific paper
An extensive compilation of spectra of 45 pulsars over a wide frequency range is presented based on pulse energy values measured with the 100-m telescope of MPIfR combined with pulse energy measurements published in the literature. The pulsars in our sample are distinctly separated into two groups with different spectral characteristics. New correlations between spectral indices were found. Good agreement was found when comparing the predictions of the coherent curvature radiation model with our spectral data.
