The soft gamma-ray repeater SGR 1833-0832 has been discovered on 2010 March 19 thanks to the detection of a short burst by Swift (GCN #10526). We observed its Swift/XRT position (GCN #10530) with the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA). ATCA observations at 20cm were made from 2010 Mar 22 21:40-22:20 and Mar 23 00:17-01:32, the total integration on source was 1.75 h. The frequency range covered was 1.1 to 1.9 GHz, average frequency 1.52 GHz, several ranges of RFI were excised from the spectrum.
