Least-squares mixing calculations for Apollo 17 poikilitic impact melt
rocks are presented on the basis of chemical composition data for 3-g
splits of 18 samples with a range of grain size, chemistry, and
collection location. Limitations that make perfect fits to all rock
compositions with a set of components impossible are addressed.
