The diameter of complex craters' inner ring has been found to correspond to the diameter of the transient cavity, the inner ring corresponding to the transient cavity diamater has a rotated vertical stratigraphy that differentiates it from other crater features. An effort is here made to understand how observable complex crater features relate to impactor parameters.
