We present spectral models using the Astrophysical Plasma Emission Code (APEC) for hot, collisionally ionized plasma. These models are publicly available and may be accessed using the new spectroscopy tools developed for the Chandra X-ray Center's CIAO 2.0 release. We discuss improvements over previous spectral models, and indicate directions for further improvement.
