Fractionations for (Mn-53)-(Cr-53) systematics in planetary bodies are considered in the context of a model involving volatility-controlled, sequential condensation and accumulation of solid material in a cooling nebula of diminishing mass. It is found that the apparent dependence of initial Mn-53 abundance on distance from the sun can be explained by Mn/Cr fractionations of the magnitude observed in chondrites.
