Rapid analysis of ROTSE-III sky patrol fields reveals a probable new CV which we designate ROTSE3 J212313-021446.6. The object was first detected Jun. 01.05, 2005 by the ROTSE-IIIc telescope at the H.E.S.S. site in Namibia, at an unfiltered magnitude of 16.8. It was detected 1 day later at an unfiltered magnitude of 16.9, which is our most recent observation of the transient. Observations from May 23 do not detect the source to a limiting magnitude of 17.5.
