Radio observations of candidate active galactic nucleus counterparts to eight EGRET sources with |b| > 9^∘ are examined, and several new identifications suggested. Preference is given to the use of all-sky, flux-density limited surveys in searching for counterparts and attention is drawn to the importance of not relying exclusively on spectral indices inferred from single-dish observations.
