The cluster Abell 1367 provides us with unique opportunities to study the processes associated with galaxy transformation in dense environments. This dynamically young cluster is currently forming at the intersection of two large scale filaments. Optical observations suggest that it is composed of at least four separate dynamical units. Multiple jet-like cometary trails, 150 kpc long, have been discovered in A1367 using H-alpha imaging observations, suggesting galaxy infall at high-velocity. To interpret these unique data, an understanding of the dynamical state of A1367 is required. We propose to determine the mass components of the cluster, their relative motions, and to understand the effects of mergers on the infalling galaxies by completing the XMM mosaic of this cluster.
