Contributions were made to the spectroscopic investigation of the atomic and molecular composition, the dynamics, and the general physical characteristics of interstellar matter. Structure and dynamics of interstellar molecular clouds, boundary layers between molecular and ionized matter, and the chemical composition of molecule clouds were studied. Molecule observations in external galaxies were made, and their dynamics were compared to those of the Milky Way. Atmospheric molecules such as CO and ozone were observed for the study of dynamic processes in the atmosphere.
