SST using NOAA APT data in the EEZ of Pakistan were estimated and analyzed to study their variability during the pre-monsoon period. The temperature variations were maximum in the morning (0700-0900 PST), while by the evening (1800-2000 PST) the temperature was comparatively stabilized. The SST diurnal behaviour of Arabian Sea is almost sinusoidal with time intervals showing positive (negative) anomalies with strong (weak) monsoon conditions over adjoining areas.
