Dispersion-interferometer measurements of electron density obtained with the Vertikal'-4,6,7 rockets are compared with results of theoretical calculations on the basis of a model of plasmaspheric-ionospheric interaction. It is found that, for the sunspot minimum, the best agreement is achieved if the MSIS-86 model or the DTM model for rho and p is used. For the sunspot maximum the best agreement is achieved when the MSIS model is used.
