Following the report of the AGILE detection of the Gamma Ray brightening of a source in the region containing the blazar S41749+70 (Lucarelli, et al 2011,Atel#3199). We carried out NIR observations of this source, we now report the ongoing NIR flare of the z=0.770 blazar (HB891749+701) also known as CGRaBSJ1748+7005. On March 14th,2011 JD2455635.0055, we detected a strong NIR source coincident with the radio position, we determined the flux from this object to correspond to H = 13.141 ± 0.04.
