he neutron star transient/X-ray burster SAX J1806.5-2215 has been localised by Swift (ATEL #3202) and Chandra (ATEL #3218), with inconsistent positions. he Swift result was obtained by using the UV/Optical telescope field stars to correct the XRT astrometric frame (see Goad et al. 2007, A&A, 476, 1401; Evans et al 2009, MNRAS, 397, 1177). Examining the results of the process in this case we note that the astrometric corrections derived for each Swift observation show significant scatter.
