AGILE is detecting intense gamma-ray emission above 100 MeV at Galactic Coordinates (l, b) = (100.1, 30.7) ± 0.8 deg (95% stat.) ± 0.1 deg (syst.) (R.A.=17:49:7.5, Dec.=69:44:4.0, J2000). Integrating from 2011-02-26 00:00 UT to 2011-03-01 04:00 UT, a maximum likelihood analysis yields a detection at a significance level above 5 sigma and a flux F=(200 ± 60) x 10E-8 ph/cm2/s (E > 100 MeV).
