Stokes-V spectra of the Ca(+)8542 emission were taken with a CCD in an active prominence showing extremely high line-of-sight velocities up to 25 km/s. The spatial resolution allows detecting prominence fine-structures as small as 1.1 arcsec. Exact field strengths were determined from the measured steepness of the individual emission line flanks. Values between 75 and 180 Gs are obtained. No indication is found for a dependence of the field strength on the spatial resolution or on the line-of-sight velocity, nor on the emission brightness.
