Recent objective prism searches for quasars confirm the grouping of bright quasars in the direction of the Sculptor Group of galaxies. The density of such quasars with V ≤ 17.5 mag over average sky regions is ⪉0.06 deg-2. The concentration in the NGC 55, NGC 300 and NGC 253 areas is 0.65 deg-2. Around NGC 253 the density is over 20 times the average and has a chance of <5×10-4 of being accidental.
