Seyfert Galaxies: X-Ray Spectra

The authors present the ASCA spectra of 10 Seyfert 2 galaxies. The overall X-ray spectra from the majority of Seyfert 2s are fitted with two power law models; a soft and hard components. The hard components with Fe K lines are explained in the framework of the unified scheme. The soft components give slopes equal to or steeper than that of the hard components. The efficiency of the soft X-ray emission normalized by far infrared one seems to be larger than those of starburst galaxies, M82, NGC 3079 and NGC 253.
