X-Ray Surveys: X-Ray Background
Scientific paper
Preliminary results on the log N-log S relation of X-ray sources in the range 2-10 keV obtained from ASCA sky surveys are shown and the log N-log S relation is compared with that in the range 0.5-2 keV obtained with ROSAT. This comparison suggests presence of a significant number of harder sources than usual active galactic nuclei at the flux level around the ASCA detection limit.
