Galactic Center: X-Ray Sources

The authors discuss properties of X-ray sources in the central 8°×8° part of the Galactic center field and describe results of the source population study with the coded-mask telescope ART-P aboard GRANAT. The detected source distribution is compared with that based on the current models of the matter distribution in the Galaxy.
