T Tauri Stars: X-Ray Variations, T Tauri Stars: Star-Forming Regions

The authors report on ROSAT HRI observations of two T Tau stars, SR 9
and SR 12, in the ρ Oph star formation region. Each star was
observed six times at regular rotational phase intervals over its
rotation period, known from optical photometry. Significant X-ray
variability has been detected for both stars in the HRI data.
