An analysis of the measures carried out at Merate Observatory has shown that FO Vir is an eclipsing binary. It has been possible to determine the geometric and photometric elements from the V light curve using Kopal's method. The comparison with the results of Mochnacki et al. (1986) is quite satisfactory and FO Vir is confirmed to be a semidetached system.
