An Eotvos-type experiment is performed at a site with a significant slope in order to search for the presence of material-dependent intermediate-range forces. For an intermediate-range force coupled to baryon number (N + Z) a strength times range product of -0.04 + or - 0.07 m is found for ranges between 25 and 400 m. At greater ranges the value of the error is shown to increase linearly to a strength times range product of -0.05 + or - 0.09 m at 1.6 km. A similar value is found if the coupling is quark-flavor dependent.
