It is shown that in main sequence (MS) eclipsing binary systems with period change (Q ≠ 0), the masses, radii, temperatures and luminosities of the main and companion stars are directly proportional. These stars have the value of the mass ratio q = 0.87+0.03. For other MS systems with Q = 0, these characteristics are related by a power law with a smaller correlation coefficient.
