Studies of quasars are reviewed, including evidence suggesting that quasars are the nuclei of colliding galaxies. Optical imaging observations of quasars, the study of quasars with a CCD detector, and X-ray and VLA observations are discussed. The relationship between radio galaxies and radio quasars, quasar energy output, the radio structure of quasars, and studies of galactic nuclei and double stars are examined.
