The paper determines the redshift dependence of the radio magnitude for the statistically most powerful quasar on lg z for 902 quasars. The mean slope of the redshift-magnitude relation is 1.5. This may be explained by a decrease in quasar luminosity which is more rapid in the radio range (0.60m for one-billion years at q0 = 1) than in the optical range.
