Detailed spectroscopic study confirmed a mild Am-peculiarity of both components of the double-lined spectroscopic eclipsing binary HR 6611 and revealed a slightly asynchronous rotation of the primary one. The analysis of Zeeman spectra of the binary and 4 non-magnetic stars, does not exclude an effective magnetic field on HR 6611A, varying cyclically with a semi-amplitude of 0.2 kG, but definitely not with the orbital period 3.895 d.
