G 35.2-0.74N is a young star formation region whose H II emission shows the unusual structure of an optically thick central source with collinear, optically thin lobes on either side. It is suggested that these lobes may be a manifestation of opposing beams of stellar wind and/or ultraviolet radiation which originate in the central source and drive the bipolar molecular outflow observed in this object, providing a valuable clue to the origin of such flows.
