The asymmetric disposition of associated arcsecond-extended radio emission has been established, by high-dynamic range maps of 21 luminous and core-dominated radio sources made with the VLA at 1.5 and 4.9 GHz, in contrast to the largely symmetric brightness distribution of large-angular size but less luminous sources. It is suggested that this radio emission asymmetry many kiloparsecs from the radio core may be due to a relativistic bulk flow Doppler enhancement. Alternatively, the asymmetry may be real.
