Black hole candidates with radio jets are a plausible source of the Galactic positrons which produce the observed 511 keV line. The most spectacular of these objects is GRS 1915+105, which we have observed with OSSE to look for annihilation in the interstellar medium around it; this would give a long-term average of its positron production over many thousands of years. We find a 3σ upper limit of 0.96×10-4 photons s-1 cm-2 on a narrow 511 keV line, which implies that the product of the fraction of synchrotron-producing particles which are positrons and the average number of blob ejections per year is less than 0.74.
