Using the H-alpha filtergrams obtained with our 26-cm telescope, we have analyzed the evolution of the magnetic structure and the spot proper motion of a new emerging flux region from Dec. 5 to Dec. 9, 1990. A rare phenomenon of one spot penetrating another with the same magnetic polarity was observed. Although the p1 spot was found to be squeezed, elongated, and broken in the process of penetration, no violent activities were observed. Using Zwaan's new emerging spot model it is difficult to directly explain the process of penetration, so a new model for spot emergence is needed to interpret this peculiar phenomenon.
