Work has continued throughout the reporting period on reduction of data
from the Fall 1976 flight of the MSFC-UAH Cosmic Ray Experiment. During
this period a major effort was undertaken to improve and rebuild the
experiment. This was accomplished and a successful flight was completed
in September 1978 from Pierre, South Dakota with the new instrument.
