The OSSE, COMPTEL, and EGRET instruments on the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory cover the energy range from below 30 keV to over 30 GeV. Observations made with these instruments have detected gamma-rays which are associated directly with supernova remnants (SNRs) or indirectly with particle acceleration. These observations, to be discussed, include the OSSE detection of {44}(Ti) from CAS A; the COMPTEL detection of {26}(Al) from the Galactic plane, although not detected from nearby SNRs; and the EGRET detection of high-energy gamma rays coincident with five radio-bright SNRs.
