The paper discusses the methods for measuring the linear polarization of gamma-rays with energies above 0.1 MeV. Special attention is given to Compton scattering and e -, e + pair production. The effects of the selection of gamma-events and multiple scattering in the converters on the derived azimuthal distribution are considered. The changes of measuring polarization with gamma-telescopes in a near future are considered.
