A spectroscopic study of Li abundances has been carried out for stellar samples in three globular clusters: 47 Tuc, NGC 6388 and NGC 362, using high resolution spectra acquired with UVES on the VLT. The stellar sample are luminous giant stars located near the asymptotic giant branch (AGB) for each cluster. A general comparison was carried out between observed and synthetic spectra with variations in the Li abundance. One of the 18 stars in NGC 6388, and one of the 15 stars in NGC 362, showed evidence of a potential Li feature. In both cases the Li abundance was in reasonable agreement with the scaled solar Li abundance. None of the 9 stars in 47 Tuc showed evidence of Li being present.
