A nondegenerate approximation to Fermi integrals is presented which is valid at arbitrary temperatures and in which the dependence of thermodynamic variables on chemical potential is simple and easily inverted. A complete set of thermodynamic equations, including derivatives, is provided for use in dynamical calculations. It is noted that the nondegenerate approximation is based on the specific assumption that fermions and antifermions are in LTE with a photon sea, so that their chemical potentials are equal and opposite. The relative accuracy of the approximation is evaluated.
