The authors extend into space the normal gravity field of the Earth
according to the Pizzetti-Somigliana theory; the GRS adopted at the 1979
IUGG assembly has been used for the computation of the parameters in the
formulae allowing the computation of the modulus of gravity and the
direction of the vertical.
