Observational evidence is presented that radio precursors of a big flare event cover the whole microwave-decimeter range like the following impulsive phase. The quasiperiodic preflare radio emission combined with soft and hard X-ray and H-alpha data confirms preflare energization of the active region and is compatible with a temperature dependent prominence flare loop interaction model. The preflare signatures are highly important for a preflare diagnostic of energy release site parameters.
