The good agreement is demonstrated between the total brightness of the white-light corona in the standard region (1.03 - 6.00 R_sun;) in dependence on the phase of the solar cycle. Its observed values are within the interval of 0.48 (minimum) and 1.42 (maximum) × 10-6 of the mean brightness of the solar disk. Within the range of observational errors, no difference in the values of the total brightness of the white-light corona was observed between the individual cycles during this century. The dependence between ellipticity and the total brightness was determined in relation to the solar cycle phase.
