Vlb Interferometry: Nutation, Latitude Determination

The observational data of optical classical instruments, of synthesis of
new techniques and of VLBI with today's highest precision are used to
detect the free core nutation (FCN). A retrograde circular motion with
period of 415 - 418 days and amplitude of sub-milliarcsecond (FCN) has
been obtained.
