Attention is given to IR photometry results for the J, H, and K bands of 24 stellar maser sources. Nearly all Mira variable masers are noted to be closer to the black body line on the color-color diagram than the normal M giants, which also have brighter H magnitudes; the primary reason for this lies in the strong H2O absorption bands at 1.4 and 1.9 microns. The fact that maser-associated Mira variables have longer periods and redder colors than normal Mira stars and M giants suggests a greater amount of mass ejection from the central stars.
