Detailed descriptions are given for procedures proposed for the optical alignment of JNLT. First, the author gives conditions and preparations for optical tests. Procedures with the use of test mirrors and an artificial light source are given. Then, the methods for testing intregrated optical performance using stars are described. In the last part, adjustments and calibrations necessary at the beginning of everyday observings are briefly discussed.
