The H II region distribution of M33, published by Boulesteix et al. (1974), is analyzed using a 2D Fourier-transform technique. We show that the two-armed structure extends to r approximately 28 arcmin. Beyond that radius, the distribution shows very chaotic behavior that agrees with Elmegreen and Elmegreen arm classification. By using the inverse Fourier transform (functions that represent the radial density of the m-armed components), and assuming that places of resonances have a low surface density of H II regions, we can infer a possible place for the corotation radius and so the pattern speed.
