We present optical spectroscopy and infrared photometry of the Be/X-ray binary system LSI +61 303 obtained simultaneously with the radio and high-energy observations reported elsewhere in these proceedings. Whilst the observations do not cover a sufficiently long timebase to disentangle uncorrelated and correlated behaviour, we do find evidence for variations in both the Balmer hydrogen line emission and infrared photometry from night to night during the observations.
