A video presentation is given of the formation of knotted structures in relativistic magnetized astrophysical jets. These knotted structures are quasi-periodic magnetic pinches with large pressure and density contrast. The model predicts stationary knots for subsonic jets, and moving knots for supersonic jets. The simulations use the equations of MHD in divergence form, and some aspects of the numerical method will be highlighted.
