The Committee on Education major activities were to create a Career Brochure, set up the Visiting Professors Program, work on a Foreign Visting Professor Program, to organize a Conference on Graduate Education, held at Indiana University in 1962, create Astronomical Motion Pictures and to organize a series of popular-level lectures at several AAS meetings in the early 1960s.
